WHAT WE MUST CONQUER FOR GREATNESS
There are prices everyone must pay to be successful in life, aside hard work. These of course, many successful men are passing through, but they might not understand these about themselves. They might not be able to teach you also. Many individuals are creative and innovative, yet they are still struggling within poverty level. An individual might possess resources (capital) and certain good qualities (determination, persistence, zeal, honesty etc), yet will not be able to progress in career.
The things that progress a man are what he passes through in life. The things he is doing right!
Success will either attract good people that will support your vision or attract the bad ones that would want you to feel bad about what you are doing to succeed. It is important to know what you want and be dogged about going for it and making a success out of it.
You do not know what you are capable of doing until you are pushed. Some who tried to push you into hardship might hard you up for what you must conquer for greatness ahead and perhaps ended up helping you reach your promise land on time
Sometimes it takes going through the bad moments to bring out the best in you. Trials are raw materials for that fuel breakthrough. The push one will encounter might take different dimension some people needed to be sacked before realizing their potentials and reaching out to the moon for their goals in life.
You must conquer these things to be successful in life
Fear of change
Nothing can change in your life unless you change yourself. The change must start from you. Your ability to change your unproductive attitudes to life will directly attract the change you need from around you, including how people treat you. This is really important, especially when things are not happening the way they ought to.
As it is properly known, change is the only constant thing in life. Until you are ready to change, you are not ready to succeed. There are lot of limiting beliefs, characters and even friend you might need to change. Do not let the fear of what might happen to stop you from embracing change.
Putting Yourself Down
Belittling is the worst treatment anyone can offer to his enemy, let alone to thyself!
No matter the number of people running the same race with you, never put yourself down. You may thinking you cannot amount to anything in life, especially if some people have gone ahead of you and have achieved a lot. Though it could take you some time or an extra effort, you will definitely get there. Everybody passed through the same hardship to become a success others envy.
Everyone has something in them to offer the world, but fear cannot let some rise and shine.
Our deepest fear is that we are not adequate, talented and fabulous enough. Who is that one person born already great? No one, greatness is achieved!
Therefore, if we come to realize that all can be great, who are you not to be? We are born to manifest the glory of God within us. God is for everyone. God has position Himself to help anyone who wants to make a difference.
Comparing Yourself with People
When you compare yourself to anyone, you reduce your abilities, innovations, energies, willpower and capabilities to the level that person in question. You will never fully believe in yourself if you keep comparing yourself to everyone else. Being true to yourself in thoughts, words and actions is as important as being kind and true to others.
You will definitely end up working for people, if you keep weighing yourself with people’s achievement. You can never be your own boss.
Therefore, be your own role model. It is true formal education has made many people to see their limit.
Your way out is to be creative, and let your education be your foundation,
Living in the Past
“If I had known what I know now” is a common statement poor people make. Even at the moment, what are they doing with the knowledge they have gathered so far. Excuse is the ingredients of procrastination.
Living in the regretful things that happened yesterday makes one wallow in self pity. Embrace today for a better tomorrow and make good plans for your future. Today is here and tomorrow is just some minutes away. Spend each moment wisely. Live for what today has to offer, not for what yesterday has taken away.
Life is a journey that is only travelled once. Today’s moments quickly become tomorrow’s memories. Yesterday has gone, today is what you have, its here now, tomorrow is of God anything can happen.
Trying to Please Everyone
Trying to pleasing everyone is as good as living a fake life. Some people are good, and some are bad. To progress in life, an individual must be either hot or cold to attract a certain people that will partner with you.
It is an aberration to think you can please everybody in life. It has never happened and it cannot start with you. You can never please everybody. Some will be okay with you while others will have something negative to say so as to pull you down. Do no live to please people, but rather to clear your conscience with all men and be fair in relating with everyone.
Only when you require no approval from outside yourself can you own yourself. If you’re being true to yourself and it isn’t enough for the people around you, change the people around you. As long as you try to please people and care about what others think of you, you are owned by them.
Spirit of Pessimism
This is thinking in the negative direction. Nothing ever seems possible to achieve. People who suffer the spirit of pessimism will always see hard work as the enemy. However, work is our friend. Because it helps you discover who you are. Hard-work, woks!
Good things come to those who work hard and struggle to pursue the goals and dreams they believe in. The pessimist will not spend the needed time on any task to see it done, rather flips from one thing to the other and never gets anything done.
However, there is a true and divine being in man “Your Gut”. When your spirit tells you something at first instant just trust the little inner voice even if it’s telling you, its a bad idea, just obey.
Over Thinking
Thinking too much will only guarantee you two things; fear and worry. These are the worst enemies of success. Fear of failure will never let you try out new ideas and worry of failure will never let you finish what you have started. Fear and worry are opposites sides of faith in a three sided die, and they are the realistic weapons that work for Satan.
When you over think, you stretch yourself beyond the limit and the outcome is that you get stressed. This has a resultant effect on your health. Think healthy in such a way you are not stressing you mind in unnecessary and past things. Something in life can never be undone, but effort can be made to do them better next time when opportunity present itself.
Conquer the World
The world is not a bed of roses! Sometimes things happen not the way you want it. But difficult times are teachers, it teaches us to be stronger and yet bad times does not last long. The world is not there to help you, only God is. Therefore, do not expect much from people. But, work hard and trust God to crown your efforts.
Remember, sometimes bad things in life open up your eyes to the good things you were not paying attention to before. Everything is going to be alright; maybe not today but eventually.
Most of the things we tend to be upset about, will not matter to us in years to come. Move ahead and save the agony for later, you will found out you have forgotten.
Conquer the Flesh
The flesh is always against the spirit to put it down. The spirit is not after lusts, unlike the flesh, it’s main focus is to fulfil the purpose an individual is created for wherever him/her is placed; in the office, at home, in service to God and so on.
Our greatest enemy is the flesh. It always look for a comfort zone. A place of pleasure where there is no input. Where we do not care about the future.
Stepping outside of your comfort zone will put things into perspective from an angle you cannot grasp now, and open doors of opportunity that would otherwise not exist
Conquer the Devil
Things we ought to know about devil cannot be contained in a book, let alone a paragraph like this.
However, Satan “the devil” can be summarized in one sentence, which is; The enemy of progress
Devil is a deceiver, a cheater, and a betrayal to his loyalists. Nothing good comes from him. He is the master of distraction, because what we love most is what he tempts us with. Falling to his temptation over and over again is the reason many men stay the same through years. A step forward and two backwards. You will be busy place to place, but not all movement is progress.
Therefore, fine tune your spirit with the word of God and He will direct your path. Everyone is created for a reason, mostly to better the life of people around.
Evil spirits posses people to put stumbling blocks and to frustrate others. Do not listen to people first, listen to your instinct and if you are not clear, then listen to others. That’s the secret of success!
The world, the flesh and the devil are adversaries of God and only through the power of the blood of Jesus Christ deals with them properly.
